The role

Are you a student living in Riyadh and interested in gaining insight into life at a leading international law firm? AS&H Clifford Chance invites applications for our Summer Internship Programme, a short-term internship designed to provide hands-on exposure to legal work.

Running between June and August, this internship offers a valuable introduction to the legal profession in Saudi Arabia and the role international law firms play in supporting complex, high-impact matters across the Kingdom. You will work alongside our lawyers and business professionals, gaining practical experience and insight into our collaborative and high-performing culture.

This programme provides an excellent foundation for students considering a future career in law or professional service

You will have the opportunity to:

• Gain exposure to market-leading transactions and advisory work shaping Saudi Arabia.

During the programme, you will be treated as a valued team member. You will support live matters, assist with research and project work, and collaborate with colleagues across practice areas.

Interns will gain exposure to one or more of the following practice areas, depending on business needs and preferences:

• Public Policy
• Corporate / Capital Markets
• Banking & Finance
• Litigation

 

Eligibility

• Saudi nationality
• Be current university students
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about the legal profession in Saudi Arabia
• Be available to complete the internship during the June–August period within Riyadh
• Prior legal experience is not required.
• Be on track for a minimum academic GPA of 4.5/5.0 or 3.5/4.0

• Able to work well in a team environment
• Interested in developing commercial awareness and problem-solving skills

• Internship period: June – August 2026
• Duration: Short-term summer internship (exact dates to be confirmed based on business needs and availability)
