Summer Internship, EHS Trainings

Overview:

Wonderful Citrus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student for a Summer Internship within our EHS Training Department. This onsite internship provides hands-on experience supporting EHS training programs, data organization, systems development, and process improvement. Candidates with strong technical skills are preferred; however, students with an EHS background who can support training material updates are also encouraged to apply. This position will be based on-site at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Primary Focus: Systems & Automation Support

• Assist with building, improving, and maintaining internal systems and automated tools.
• Support data tracking, reporting, and dashboard development using Excel and Power BI.
• Assist with basic Power Apps development or workflow enhancements.
• Help streamline training processes through documentation, automation, and improved data organization.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Secondary Focus: EHS Training Content & Program Support

• Review, update, and format EHS training materials, presentations, manuals, and job aids.
• Support video editing, graphics, and visual enhancements using Adobe tools.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining training records and documentation.
• Support updates to training programs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Help track training completion and support scheduling and communication efforts

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Alternative consideration: Coursework or background in EHS, safety, or training 
• development.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
