Our Summer Gardener position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fun and dynamic environment. You will spend your days outdoors, working alongside our talented team to transform and maintain stunning landscapes while gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the process.
This position will work 40 hours weekly, beginning in May through to the end of August, with weekends off. Please submit your resume online.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform daily maintenance including weeding, mulching, deadheading, and watering of garden beds and annual plantings
Plant and install annual displays, perennials, and shrubs to create beautiful seasonal landscapes
Prune shrubs and small trees, and shear hedges to maintain healthy, attractive plantings
Load and unload trucks with materials and supplies
Help improve the quality of our properties through a variety of gardening-related tasks

REQUIREMENTS
Experience or willingness to learn and perform a variety of gardening tasks
Reliable transportation to and from our shop is required, as the location is not on a bus route
Valid G/G2 Driver's license and clean driver's abstract preferred
1 year experience in a landscape environment preferred
Secondary school diploma
Ablility to work both in a team and independently
