Bayswater Cyprus is excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Summer Camp Centre Manager. As a leading provider of summer camp experiences, we aim to offer children a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Our team is passionate about creating memorable experiences for all participants, and we are looking for a proactive and skilled leader to manage the operations of our summer camp.
Cyprus – UCLan Cyprus, Pyla, 21st June to 16th August
This is a residential position, so full board and accommodation is provided free of charge.
Position Summary
Contract Type: Fixed Term Summer Programme – June to August 2026
The Centre Manager role at Bayswater Education has core responsibility for:
Attending a senior training course
Overall responsibility for running the allocated Summer centre
Set up and close down the centre in accordance with Bayswater guidelines
Manage the day-to-day centre operations and handle any issues that arise
Ensure all aspects of the courses operate smoothly
Financial reporting, accounting and cost control for the centre
Manage all Bayswater Summer staff that are appointed in their various posts throughout the summer including preparing rotas, recording days off/hours for payroll, etc
Build strong, collaborative relationships with facility providers (accommodation, catering, classrooms, etc), ensuring that services are delivered in line with our agreement and dealing with any problems which may arise
The nature of the role requires the candidate to work across all days of the week, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. The position includes one designated day off per week. Bayswater Cyprus is unable to accommodate holiday requests during the summer camp operating period.
What Are We Looking For
Knowledge, qualifications, and experience
Essential
An undergraduate degree
Experience of working with groups of international students taking part in educational programmes
Experience of summer centre management and best practices
Experience of safeguarding of children/young people
Experience of staff recruitment and managing people
Desirable
Current First Aid certificate
An appropriate qualification (e.g. Playwork, Childcare or Sports Leadership)
Skills and Attributes
Fluent in English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly collaborative and able to work across teams to deliver results
Numerate and IT literate with competence in Excel and Microsoft Office products
Highly organised and able to manage a varied and demanding workload

Salary and Benefits
Salary of up to €750 per week depending on experience
Accommodation and full board provided
