VACANCY DESCRIPTION:  Impact Christian Schools (ICS) is seeking candidates to substitute teach. ICS seeks enthusiastic, qualified, and creative Christian substitute teachers committed to growing students' interest in and skills using a pre-established curriculum. The ideal candidates will also prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

Abundant Life Christian School (ALCS) was founded in 1978 as a community Christian school, with its first graduating class in 1985. ALCS was specifically organized to offer students academic excellence in a Christ-focused context. ALCS offers grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. [4901 E Buckeye Rd, Madison, WI, 53716]

Community Christian School (CCS) was founded in 2010 by a group of families who desired to have their children well-educated in a non-denominational Christian setting. CCS continues to be a non-denominational Christian school with over ten local churches represented within the school body, staff, and school board. [E12654 County Rd T, Baraboo, WI 53913]

High Point Christian School (HPCS) was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. Our school offers a safe, caring, Christ-centered environment for grades K-8 and a preschool and 4K program. [7702 Old Sauk Rd, Madison, WI, 53717]

Impact Christian Academy (ICA) was founded in 2023 as a ministry of Impact Christian Schools to serve families on the west side of Madison. Our school offers a safe, caring, Christ-centered environment for grade 9 (with a commitment to add one grade each year until 12th grade). Kids Junction Christian School  KJCS was founded in 2023 as a ministry of Impact Christian Schools to serve families on the west side of Madison. Our school offers a safe, caring, Christ-centered environment for 4K. KJCS is located in the Princeton Club-West. [8084 Watts RoadMadison, WI 53719]

Mount Horeb Christian School (MHCS) was founded in 2018 as a ministry extension of High Point Church. MHCS currently operates on two campuses. Our preschool meets at New Hope Evangelical Free Church. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ-follower, college graduate, certified or certifiable, who feels called by God to the teaching profession.

Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ACSI Certified Teacher

State of Wisconsin certified teacher or substitute teacher.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

New Substitute Teachers: $130.00 per day (New substitute teachers are those who have worked fifteen (15) or fewer teaching assignments at HPCS)

Experienced Substitute Teachers: $150.00 per day (Experienced substitute teachers are those who have worked more than fifteen (15) teaching assignments at HPCS)

Retired Substitutes: $180.00 per day (Those who have worked at an Impact Christian School for a minimum of ten years and are officially retired)

Support Staff Substitutes: $12.50 per hour (Non-teaching substitute assignments)

POSITION START DATE:  Immediate
