You can qualify with as little as an Associate Degree!

Requirements:
• Associate Degree or higher (required for licensing)
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
• Passion for working with students and supporting education
• Excellent communication skills
• Clean State and Federal background check
• Willingness to complete a drug screening
• Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Substitute Teaching License (we provide full guidance and support)
• Interview with the Berlin School District may be required

What You’ll Do: As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting student learning by:

• Delivering lesson plans left by the classroom teacher
• Maintaining a positive, orderly, and engaging classroom environment
• Taking attendance and managing classroom routines according to school procedures
• Supervising students and fostering a safe, respectful learning space
• Building positive relationships with students, staff, and administrators
• Following all internal Parallel Education policies and procedures, including maintaining schedule availability and adhering to our attendance expectations - reliability is critical
• Following all school and district policies, including emergency protocols
