Job Description

Ridgeview Classical Schools is seeking interested and qualified candidates to join our health office in the role of Health Technician. As the primary caregiver in the health office, the health tech will be guided by best practices for school health services, to administer basic first aid, perform medical procedures, administer medications as delegated by the school's Registered Nurse, communicate with family members of sick or injured students, and document services performed.

Successful applicants will be able to interact positively with the school community on a daily basis and enjoy working in an environment with all ages of students. Previous health care experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of beginning position

School RN Medication and Procedure Delegation and Health Aide training before start of duties in school health office

EMT or CNA certification preferred.
