Prime System Solutions is currently hiring a Subscriber Data Entry Specialist on behalf of one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for a highly detail-oriented and organized professional who thrives in structured, process-driven environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing subscriber data across internal systems and external utility portals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined procedures. This is a critical operational role that supports ongoing data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Enter, update, and maintain subscriber information within utility portals and other web-based platforms
• Build, update, and manage subscriber lists in Excel using defined templates and formatting standards
• Transfer and transform data between internal systems and external portals (e.g., reformatting columns, standardizing values, de-duplicating records)
• Perform routine subscriber allocation updates, including additions, removals, changes, and corrections
• Validate subscriber records to ensure completeness and accuracy (names, addresses, account identifiers, allocation values, effective dates, etc.)
• Reconcile discrepancies between source files and portal data; document findings and escalate exceptions to the designated internal contact
• Conduct periodic audits of assigned subscriber sets to ensure records and allocations remain current
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work through logs, trackers, and change notes in line with internal standards
• Support structured data cleanup initiatives by applying predefined rules and quality processes
• Follow established quality control checks and approval steps before final submissions or updates
• Provide regular progress updates, flag blockers, and report recurring error trends to the internal team (daily/weekly as required)
Requirements:
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative data maintenance, preferably in high-volume and repetitive task environments
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to accuracy and data quality
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recurring tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, sorting, basic formulas, formatting, and data cleanup functions)
• Comfortable working within Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)
• Familiarity with structured data workflows including copy/paste processes, reformatting, standardization, and de-duplication
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely
• Strong written communication skills for documenting updates, discrepancies, and status reports
• High level of accountability, reliability, and ownership of assigned operational tasks
• Ability to identify data inconsistencies (missing fields, mismatches, invalid formats) and escalate appropriately
• Comfortable navigating web-based portals and internal systems; able to quickly learn new tools
• Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality standards when handling customer/subscriber information
