Pangea Society is seeking exceptional individuals with PhD in Economics or related fields who are eager to make a difference through innovative research mentorship and transformative programs.

Key Responsibilities::
• Innovative Problem Solving:
• Guide high school scholars in developing impactful, publication-ready research projects across Economics or related fields — to strengthen their academic profiles for top global universities (including the Ivy League).
• Structure and manage personalized research journeys with clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ideate and mentor novel, interdisciplinary projects that demonstrate originality, relevance, and depth — enhancing students’ competitiveness in the admissions process.
• Ensure research output meets the highest standards of academic rigor, creativity, and integrity, with opportunities for publication in reputed journals (including Scopus-indexed platforms).

• Innovation & Academic Excellence:
• Engage with complex, real-world issues and guide students in applying academic principles to solve them through research.
• Inspire scholars to think critically and creatively, challenging conventional frameworks and fostering intellectual curiosity.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in Economics, education, and research methodologies to integrate cutting-edge knowledge into Pangea’s programs.
• Collaborate with consultants and academic teams to design and deliver high-calibre, research-based projects that uphold Pangea’s academic excellence standards.

• Academic Partnerships and Program Development:

• Lead conferences, symposiums, and academic events to expand and strengthen the Pangea community of researchers, scholars, and mentors.

Key Skills:
• Understanding of economic concepts and theories.
• Strong interdisciplinary knowledge and willingness to collaborate across domains.
• Excellent understanding of parametric and non-parametric hypothesis testing, economic modeling and applied knowledge of panel and time-series models.
• Proficiency in statistical softwares like Stata/Eviews/Ms Excel/SPSS.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute cutting-edge research ideas.
• Strong interdisciplinary knowledge and willingness to collaborate across domains.
• Excellent mentoring skills, with a knack for inspiring creativity in students.
• Outstanding research skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work.
• Strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Subject Specific Requirements:
• PhD in Economics/Finance/Business or related fields from Tier 1 institutes(India or Abroad)
• Proven record of academic excellence, including published research.
