Student Recruitment Officer – Marketing

Edith Cowan University (ECU) Sri Lanka is the first Australian university to establish a direct campus in Sri Lanka, offering students the opportunity to experience an authentic Australian education. As a Recruitment Officer you will be joining the Marketing Team to contribute to the strategic growth and visibility of ECU Sri Lanka.

Student Recruitment & Outreach

• Promote college/university programs to prospective students, parents, and agents.
• Attend education fairs, school visits, and virtual events to generate leads.
• Provide accurate and timely program information to potential applicants.

 Lead Management

• Handle student enquiries promptly through CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and messages to maximize conversions.

 Application Support

• Guide students through the application process and required documentation.
• Track applications through to offer, acceptance, and enrolment stages.

 Marketing & Promotion

 

• Support marketing campaigns targeted at key intakes and markets.
• Contribute to digital and social media recruitment activities.

 Customer Service

• Provide high-quality support to prospective students and families.
• Address queries professionally and represent the institution positively.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Education, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in student recruitment, marketing, sales, or customer service (experience in the education industry is an added advantage).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with students, parents, and school representatives.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines.

Our main campus location in Colombo, Sri Lanka is conveniently situated between the CBD and the parliament area, close to restaurants, lunch places and shopping. Located in one multifunctional building, the campus features purpose-built biomedical, engineering and computer labs, a digital hub, large modern library, modern classrooms, student collaboration spaces and a coffee lounge. 

Our College in Kandy is situated in Peradeniya Road.
