To support our operations as we scale, we're looking for a Student Assistant to join us in IT Operations & AI Productivity - a hands-on role that keeps our internal systems running while exploring how AI can improve the way we work.

What you’ll do

You'll support the day-to-day operation of internal IT and act as an operational extension of the CFO for IT-related matters. Working closely with our external IT partner (Supporters), you'll ensure requests are followed up, tasks are completed, and internal ownership is clear where decisions are required. The role combines hands-on operational work with coordination, follow-up, and continuous improvement - all with a strong service mindset.

Your core responsibilities include:

IT Operations & Coordination: Act as the internal point of contact for day-to-day IT activities. Track requests and tickets, follow up with Supporters, prepare context for escalations, and ensure IT-related tasks move forward without friction.

Hardware & Office IT: Manage the practical aspects of office IT - onboarding and offboarding logistics, preparing and reusing devices, maintaining hardware inventory, and keeping office equipment functional and ready.

Compliance & ITSM (Vanta): Maintain operational oversight of compliance-related tasks. Ensure required actions, documentation, and reviews have clear owners and are completed on time, escalating risks or delays where necessary.

Documentation & Process Hygiene: Maintain and improve IT-related documentation, SOPs, and checklists in Notion. Support teams in following established processes and help improve structure across shared systems.

Policy Follow-up & Enforcement: Follow up on actions related to defined policies and compliance requirements on behalf of the CFO, balancing a service-oriented approach with clear follow-through on agreed standards.

AI & Productivity Exploration: A dedicated part of your role is exploring how AI tools can improve efficiency in IT operations and general office workflows. This includes evaluating AI capabilities in existing systems, exploring platforms for automation and documentation, identifying opportunities to simplify manual processes, and proposing practical, cost-aware improvements. The focus is on applied value and operational impact—not experimentation for its own sake.

Who you are

This role is ideal for someone who is structured, reliable, and technically curious with strong follow-through. You're comfortable working across systems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and maintaining order in ongoing operational work.

We expect you to:

Be proactive and take ownership of tasks within your scope, with strategic support from the CFO and technical support from our external IT partner.

Have a service mindset combined with the ability to ensure follow-through on agreed rules and standards.

Thrive in a hands-on role where you balance coordination, execution, and documentation.

Have strong intuition for how systems and tools work - you learn new platforms quickly without needing hand-holding.

Be curious about technology and eager to explore how AI can create real operational improvements.

Balance independence with good judgment - curious enough to explore on your own, but comfortable asking for guidance when needed.

Enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where structure and flexibility go hand in hand.

Be studying IT, Computer Science or a related technical field.

The role is expected to develop from structured task execution into more independent operational ownership over time.
