Role Overview
This is an entry level transaction management role. The primary role will be to help maintain the efficient day to day operational requirements of structured finance transactions. The role will allow an individual to develop transaction management skills and progress with the role growth of the business.
Job Role & Responsibilities
Assisting with management of existing transactions in conjunction with team members and other Law Debenture teams;
Dealing with transaction queries and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders such as Issuers, law firms, auditors etc.
Helping with the scanning, filing and distribution of post to the relevant stake holder;
Helping to maintain our internal transaction database including on-boarding and setting up new transactions, updating existing transactions, completing notes and tasks as necessary.
Assisting with “Know your customer” checks (KYC) for our both our own internal onboarding & annual reviews of clients / transactions and those of the transaction counterparties ;
Supporting the offboarding of transactions;
Requesting and chasing documentation in relation to new and existing transactions;
Co-ordinating the implementation of transaction amendments, and knock on effects to our roles, with team members;
Working with team members and our internal finance to ensure that invoices for LawDeb fees are prepared in a timely and correct manner.
Helping with signing of transaction documents for client transactions
Ensuring maintenance of existing and new transaction folders
Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the management of client transactions.
Contribute to the LawDeb culture positively, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently.
Where regulatory rules apply, abide by these in spirit and fact.
Carry out such other tasks as you may be reasonably directed to do by the Structured Finance team from time to time.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience within professional services or an admin environment
Good IT skills and ability to use Word and Outlook proficiently (PowerPoint and Excel would be a definite advantage).
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work on your own initiative and be able to prioritise tasks and manage expectations
Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels across the business
Worked as part of a team effectively
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
