We are looking for a Structural Engineering Project Manager (Entry to Mid-Level) to support the design and execution of structural projects across a variety of building types. This role works within a collaborative engineering environment focused on delivering efficient, code-compliant, and practical structural solutions. The position is ideal for someone early in their project management career who wants to grow into full project ownership while strengthening both technical and client-facing skills. You will play a key role in coordinating design efforts, managing timelines, and supporting successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
• Assist in managing structural engineering projects from design through construction completion
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Support development of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Conduct site visits and assist with field observations and reporting
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Track project progress and communicate updates to internal teams and stakeholders
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and construction administration tasks
• Identify and resolve design or coordination issues to maintain project timelines
Requirements:
2–6 years of experience in structural engineering or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required
EIT certification preferred; PE license or progress toward licensure is a plus
Experience with structural design software such as RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
Understanding of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
