Strategy & Corporate Development Associate / Manager (m/f/d)

Backed by top-tier investors we are continuing to scale and expand our corporate development team to support strategic growth initiatives, including key commercial and product initiatives, partnerships, M&A, and market expansion. As we continue to scale, we are looking for support in our Corporate Development team. Among others, we have offices in Berlin, Karlsruhe, London, New York, Miami, Tokyo and Hong Kong. 
 
Note:  This position offers flexibility to be based remotely from anywhere within Germany and UK, but will require some travel to our headquarter location in Karlsruhe (ca. 6-10x per year for 3 days - covered by Chrono24).

What you can expect:
• Strategic planning: Support the commercial analysis of strategic growth initiatives and build business cases by partnering with sales, marketing, product, portfolio management, operations, and finance (eg. product big bets, geographic expansion).
• Project Management: Drive cross-functional, high impact projects. 
• Market and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct strategic market research and track competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop and update long-term strategy: Contribute to shaping Chrono24’s overall strategic direction over a 3+ year horizon.
• Partnerships and M&A: Help evaluate partnership and M&A opportunities aligned with our strategic goals as well as support post deal implementation.
• Optimization of organizational structures: Support continuous review of organizational structures to foster scalability and growth.
• Executive Materials & Investor Relations: Prepare materials for the Board of Director meetings, executive team, and strategy offsites.

What sets you apart:
• 1,5+ management / strategy consulting or 2+ years of experience in a role within corporate development, project management, investment banking, investing or similar analytical and strategic role.
• Curiosity towards marketplace business models and the workings of the luxury watch industry. 
• Structured, solution-orientated way of working, taking on ownership of key projects.
• Strong analytical skills, confident handling of commercial data to drive strategic recommendations.
• Proficient using Microsoft’s suite (in particular PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Very good command of the English language.
