As the Strategy and Ops Team Lead, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence across the organization. You will lead high-impact work streams that leverage AI and data to automate workflows, optimize capacity, and scale our impact. This is a hybrid role that blends strategic project ownership with the mentorship of a high-performing team.

You will join a Strategy & Operations team focused on building the scalable foundations of Sword’s future. We are a group of analytical problem-solvers who partner across the company to turn complex challenges into streamlined, AI-enhanced operational realities.

What you’ll be doing::
• AI-Driven Efficiency: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline internal operational workflows and improve program efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Own and execute end-to-end strategic workstreams, managing complex resources and timelines to ensure measurable impact on company goals.
• People Management & Coaching: Directly lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and career growth.
• Data Strategy: Use advanced data analysis to build frameworks, define performance metrics, and drive evidence-based decision-making at the leadership level.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Tech, and Commercial teams to align operational processes with broader business strategies.
• Capacity & Resource Planning: Own departmental headcount and resource planning to ensure cost-optimized growth without compromising quality.

What you need to have::
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or operations within high-growth, technology-driven environments.
• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing direct reports and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.
• AI and Tech Savvy: A strong track record of using technology and AI tools to drive production-level operational improvements.
• Expert Analytics: High proficiency in SQL, Looker, and advanced Google Sheets to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Systems Thinking: The ability to connect the dots between data, people, and processes to design scalable, long-term solutions.
• Execution Bias: A proactive, hands-on approach with the agility to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
