About the role:

The iCapital Fund Finance- Strategic Transformation and Solutions Teams collaborate across platforms to drive automation, global consistency, operational excellence, and growth. Additional focus on relationship management amongst the service providers of the company’s largest Asset and Wealth Management clients will be required. The candidate will partner with business units, product managers, and engineering teams across the enterprise to define and manage technology requirements and streamline processes, ensuring the platform evolves to meet Finance priorities. This role demands strong project management skills, a deep understanding of finance functions, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines.  This individual will be responsible for developing and executing our company’s strategy in establishing strategic partnerships that extend access to and further embed iCapital as part of the Wealth Management ecosystem The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can design and implement creative solutions while simplifying complex issues for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining scope and impact of projects and effectively communicate results to stakeholders and management.

• Assist in aspects of business analysis, from requirements gathering to post project benefits review.

• Implement new processes and align all functional finance teams to these new processes.

• Assist in Vendor Oversight: Execution and management of RFP across Fund Finance

• Oversee and monitor emerging issues to identify gaps and hold internal stakeholders accountable for driving company initiatives forward.

• Develop and maintain successful working relationships with vendor representatives and senior leaders throughout the organization, including promoting mutually beneficial relationships between partners and the organization.

• Initiate, measure, implement, and regulate the outsourcing process to ensure we appropriately leverage both onshore and offshore service providers.

• Comprehend technical framework of business process and identify areas for improvement.

• Work with finance teams to help define and build new or improved platform functionality.

• Identify and communicate issues and risks related to projects proactively.

• Facilitate cross-organizational communication and facilitate integration meetings among key project personnel independently to ensure a proper framework for issue resolution and risk mitigation is developed and utilized.

• Train users on processes and applications as well as creating training materials for new business and system functionality.

• Participate in multiple projects that span regions, geographies, continents, and time zones.

  Valued qualities and key skills:

• 3-7+ years of experience in financial services - with experience in vendor and change management preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to propose practical technical solutions to business problems and issues

• Strong commercial knowledge on industry standards and the competitive process

• Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver

• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and strategically manage and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine curiosity of financial markets

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities

• Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, project management)

• Highly collaborative, experience working within a matrix global organization, managing and coordinating teams across different locations.

• Self-motivated with a hands-on attitude and steered by high ethical standards
