People Architects is leading the search for a Strategic Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established, high-growth organization specializing in background screening solutions. We’re seeking a high-performing Strategic Sales Executive with a proven track record of selling into HR and Talent Acquisition leaders. This role is designed for someone who thrives on initiative, knows how to identify client pain points, and excels at building long-term relationships.
What You’ll Do:
Drive new business through proactive outreach, targeting Heads of HR, Talent Acquisition, and related roles
Leverage your existing network of decision-makers to generate opportunities (background screening experience not required)
Engage prospects with credibility, quickly build rapport, and identify gaps where our solutions bring value
Collaborate with executive leadership to tailor messaging, decks, and proposals early on
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients after onboarding to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Manage a full sales cycle from lead generation to signed contract, with support where needed.
What We’re Looking For
A motivated self-starter who thrives on autonomy and results
Deep Rolodex or professional network within HR, TA, or adjacent sectors
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover and address pain points
Commitment to follow through with clients post-sale for account growth
Hunter mentality with an eye for long-term account nurturing
