Our Strategy & Development team is supporting all Regions and BUs to accelerate the transformation of our company, from a leading hardware provider to a global data-centric hardware and software transformation partner, with a high impact on retailer’s financials, NPS and ESG performances. Topics covered by our Strategy & Development team are broad: Strategic roadmap & initiatives, M&A, Development of C-Level relationships, Development of strategic partnerships, Support in go-to-market for new product & innovations, Thought Leadership, Innovation pipeline management, … 

As a Strategic Projects Manager, you will lead several key projects in Vusion’s transformation roadmap and will be a key contributor to our VusionIntelligence (our value-added services business unit) roadmap and development. Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Development, and working closely with C-level leadership (in particular, Global Lead for VusionIntelligence), you will be at the heart of Vusion’s strategic agenda. 

For each project, you will have to collaborative closely with our key people in the Regions, Business Units and Functions, in order to develop partnerships, new use cases, and build strategic analyses, reports or communications that will fit operational and commercial needs. You will operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, working closely with Business, Partnerships, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Product teams, as well as with multiple geographical regions within the Vusion Group. 

1. Strategic analysis & corporate development 

• Support specific market or company analysis - linked with innovation pipeline, partnership roadmap, or thought leadership 
• During M&A processes, contribute to strategic & commercial due diligence 
• Conduct screening of potential M&A targets and monitor specific priority market segments  

2. Strategic partnership management 

• Support roll-out of strategic partnership: coordinate joint client projects, scope and identify relevant use cases and roadmap, work closely with local and global Vusion teams to deliver with success 
• Identify & coordinate new strategic partnerships to strengthen VusionIntelligence market presence and product roadmap and new capabilities development 
• Typical candidates for the next 12 months: store staff task management SaaS; People Analytics companies; Supply chain SaaS; Pricing Optimization…  

3. Vusion strategy & growth: focus on VusionIntelligence 

• Support governance & steering of Vusion’s VAS business lines growth: help monitor and track progress in terms of performance, client pipeline, against organizational goals 
• Support in preparing key executive meetings  
• Lead specific cross-functional initiatives when required 

4. Thought Leadership 

• Together with partners and in close collaboration with Marketing & Communication team, formalize white papers, reports, that will feed our thought leadership and increase visibility and reputation of Vusion  
• Typical candidates for the next 12 months: precision commerce, data-driven collaboration…  

Qualifications we’re looking for.   

 

• Advanced degree in Business or Engineering. 
• Proven successful experience of 2-4 years, including in a top-tier strategy consulting firm 
• Strong collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively across all levels of management (incl. C-level) 
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (finance, R&D, product, data, sales, legal…) 
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail 
• Ability to navigate in a multi-cultural environment and to be fully at ease in an anglo-saxon environment (written and oral skills) 
• Good knowledge of the retail and consumer goods industry 
• Curious about technology & enthusiasm for learning more and working in a tech environment
