About Us

Innovation is in HP’s DNA. From our origins in a Palo Alto garage in 1939, to our current position as one of the world’s leading technology companies, HP has grown to become a leader in technology and corporate culture, inspiring innovators, and entrepreneurs around the globe.

HP brings together a portfolio that spans printing, personal computing, software and services to serve more than 1 billion customers in over 170 countries. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that attracts exceptional talent and to supporting our employees to succeed at all levels. We dream in over 35 languages and share one mission: to engineer experiences that amaze.

The Program:

Our future success depends on the innovation and fresh ideas you bring to HP, Inc. We are hiring students and new graduates with a diverse set of skills and experiences to join us, across the different organizations that make us HP, Inc. Our new grad program is intended to help you learn and grow at HP, give you an opportunity to make an impact, and work with leading edge technology.  At HP, you’ll use advanced tools and technology to tackle complex challenges that make a real impact on people’s lives.

The Team:

We are seeking a high-impact, versatile individual contributor to join the Chief of Staff team supporting the Strategy and Operations Executive Leader. This is a "force multiplier" role designed for a professional who thrives in ambiguity and can pivot between diverse workstreams—ranging from complex program management and strategic planning to high-profile executive communications.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with the "connective tissue" required to link strategy to execution across the organization.

You will be a part of a high-impact team, who works hard, drives many key initiatives across the organization, has a front-row seat with the leadership, and knows how to have fun! You would be a part of a unique and special team who supports one another and helps you be successful.

Expectations are to identify gaps, drive the gray space, support the organization to drive things forward, be a learner and a consummate professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Management & "Gray Space" Ownership: Identify organizational gaps and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion. You don't just "help"; you own the momentum.
• Executive Narratives with Depth: Design and produce high-quality content for keynotes and customer meetings. We value substance over style—your work must show deep business understanding and provide a clear point of view, not just "pretty slides."
• Strategic Observation: Act as an "ear to the ground." Observe organizational behavior and shifts in direction to provide the team with proactive insights and trusted counsel.
• Operational Rhythm: Synchronize the "rhythm of the business" (Quarterly Planning, MBOs) with HP’s broader strategy, ensuring that every move we make is well-planned and well-formatted.
• The "Swiss Army Knife": Lead high-visibility special projects with rapid turnarounds, high discretion, and a "no task too small" mindset.

Education and Experience Required

• Have no more than 12 months of prior work experience professionally related to the Graduate Hire Requisition they are applying to, (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience).
• Will have completed at least your bachelor’s degree no earlier than May 2025 or will have graduated prior to your anticipated start date with HP.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the United States without requiring sponsorship in the future.

• 1+ years in Management Consulting, Strategy, or Business Operations in a global tech environment.

Communication

• Exceptional storytelling skills; ability to create "board-ready" decks and write in a clear executive voice.

Emotional Intelligence

• A "Strategic Observer" who listens well, builds trust quickly, and can navigate complex human dynamics.

Execution

• A track record of "raising the bar" for others. You don't just get things done; you set the standard for how they should be done.

Mindset

• A "no task too small" attitude combined with the ability to think 10 steps ahead.

Adaptability

• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, matrixed global organization.

Why This Role?

This position offers a "front-row seat" to the decision-making processes of a global technology leader. You will have unparalleled visibility into HP’s business strategy and the opportunity to influence the direction of the Personal Systems organization.

We are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works. At HP, the future is yours to create. Thanks for taking the time to review our job, if you think it is a match to your knowledge and interests please apply today— we are eager to learn more about you.
