STRATEGIC PROGRAMS ANALYST
Job Description:
The Strategic Programs Analyst plays a critical role in developing and advancing ingredient distribution consolidation programs that enhance operational efficiency and drive commercial growth. This highly analytical and cross-functional role combines strategic insight, data-driven decision-making, and business acumen to enable the sales organization with the tools, analytics, and strategies needed to execute complex customer consolidation initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution, transforming insights into measurable results for both the business and its customers
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance data-driven ingredient distribution consolidation programs that support customer growth, operational optimization, and profitability goals.
Conduct deep quantitative analysis of sales, pricing, and purchasing data to identify consolidation opportunities and develop actionable insights for the sales and strategy teams.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Product Management to align program strategy and ensure execution readiness.
Design and maintain sales enablement tools and reporting dashboards that empower commercial teams to identify opportunities, track program performance, and communicate value to customers.
Support pricing and profitability initiatives by developing cost-to-serve models and consolidation impact assessments.
Create customer-facing presentations and business cases that clearly communicate the financial and operational benefits of consolidation.
Monitor and report on key program metrics, including efficiency gains, sales impact, and customer adoption, to drive continuous improvement.
Engage in supplemental analytical projects and reporting activities in support of the Strategic Accounts team, as required.
Personal Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, commercial analytics, business strategy, or a related analytical role within distribution environments.
Proven ability to analyze large, complex data sets and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
Strong knowledge of data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Power Query, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL or Tableau for data analysis a plus.
Excellent communication—able to translate data into compelling narratives for business audiences.
Strong project management skills with the ability to influence across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of sales processes and go-to-market strategy preferred.
