Your BIG challenge as our Strategic Procurement Analyst
You create clarity by standardize and govern procurement tools, analytics, processes and data across all strategic categories. Your work enables the team to focus on sourcing while you shape the foundations of reliable procurement data, process reporting and bridge the gap between strategic category management and operational buying. You won’t just work behind your screen. You’ll talk to stakeholders, validate numbers, and build frameworks that actually work in practice. From RFQ templates to compliance dashboards, you'll lead the charge to standardize how we work with data across all packaging categories. You will enable consistent way of working, high-quality procurement data, and scalable category execution.
Your responsibilities:
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve standard procurement methodologies, templates, and analytical approaches across all categories
• Develop and govern procurement price calculator tools & analytical tools (e.g. cost breakdowns, should-cost models, index-based pricing)
• Support sourcing and negotiation activities with fact-based procurement analysis
• Standardize procurement input into budgeting and forecasting
• Verify supplier price lists and commercial conditions
• Translate procurement data into actionable insights for category managers
• Perform spend analytics by category, specification, MU, and supplier to support category strategies and buying decisions
What this role is not
• Does not perform financial controlling or accounting activities
• Does not own or approve budgets
• Does not manage P&L or financial reporting
• Does not replace Finance business partners
This role enables procurement effectiveness; Finance remains the owner of financial governance.
