Strategic Procurement Analyst

• Work with Supply Chain Analysts to procure material in support of production requirements

• Compile and issue Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to suppliers
• Conduct in depth data analysis to identify cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities through material procurement strategy
• Execute supplier negotiations
• Compile and manipulate data in order to make informed business decisions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education/Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in material procurement in a manufacturing environment

• Aerospace and Defense background preferred
• Knowledge of best purchasing practices as a government contractor
• Rich knowledge of Supply Chain Management field and how it operates in a Manufacturing environment

Security:

• Must be a US citizen

• Ability and to obtain a clearance may be required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery
• Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls
• Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements
• Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
