This is an exciting opportunity to join Solidigm; a multibillion-dollar leader in the SSD market, which is one of the fastest growing segments in the tech industry. As a Strategic Planner, you will work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. Solidigm possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the highest density datacenter SSDs and NAND, which are being deployed rapidly in both traditional and AI-focused datacenters. As a Strategic Planner, you will be part of a world-class team with a goal to grow to #1 in the datacenter & enterprise markets.

The Strategic Planner is a leader who defines the requirements for datacenter and enterprise SSD products and their associated intellectual property.  This person will own driving the initial phases of the POP (Product Opportunity Proposal) process, which includes defining the products requirements, identifying the value proposition, competitive positioning, fit in the product portfolio, and ensuring a positive financial ROI.  Strategic planners also define and prioritize the IP roadmap, create new strategies, conduct analysis to optimize the datacenter SSD roadmap, and influence how NVM solutions are deployed in our customers server and storage platforms.  This person will be comfortable working with a large team of peers, architects, program managers, customer teams and others, driving the definition of the future SSDs. They must be able to integrate commercial, business, competitive, a broad set of technical, and engineering elements into a coherent plan, and prepare the recommendations for senior leadership decision making. This role may also require creating new strategies and enabling plans to prepare the market for advanced technologies which drive an innovation or competitive advantage for the company.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management/Marketing, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
• 15+ years experience in the computer / high tech field
• 10+ years in a role that interfaces with customers, including requirements gathering 
• Strong Program Management skills, attention to detail, and organization to coordinate a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to leverage technical expertise and insights in a team environment and exhibit strong customer orientation
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills required in the development of technical documents and presentations to customers
• Leadership capability, strong interpersonal communications, and ability to task manage with demonstrated ability to deliver team results

Preferred qualifications

• MBA 
• 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role
• 2+ years managing technology or product roadmaps
• 2+ years working with SSDs and/or HDDs; experience with SSD and/or architecture
• Experience with datacenter and enterprise servers and storage systems
• Experience with NVMe, SAS / SATA, Fiber Channel, RAID controllers, HBAs, Expanders, JBODs
• Understanding of security, including security specifications (e.g. CNSA, Caliptra, etc.)

This position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs. In addition, Solidigm offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability; healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, and a company match on eligible 401(k) plan contributions.

The compensation range for this role is $139,520 - $223,300. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
