As Strategic Partnerships Lead within our Strategic Partnerships Department, you’ll have the opportunity to support to our great vision to build a world where no one suffers or dies because of a vaccine preventable disease while chasing scientific miracles for improving people’s lives. The location of this position is Ankara; there is one coordinator & one specialist within the team. This department directly linked to General Manager of Sanofi Vaccines Business Unit of Eurasia (Russia, Türkiye, Caucasus, Levant, İran & Iraq) and the responsibility of the position is limited with Türkiye. The department supports to all franchises in regard to stakeholder engagement, access to public market through tenders and long-term partnership agreements in addition to private market through importation permit achievement. Working hand in hand with Regulatory, Quality and Business operations teams in addition to PAMA, Treasury & Finance business partner teams. The external stakeholders are Public Health Directorate, Borders & Shores Directorate, Religious Affairs Directorate, Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Institution, Turkish National Control Laboratory, Turkish Health Institute, Ministry of Finance, State Supply Office, Treasury of TR.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key people in the T.R. Ministry of Health and all other relevant governmental institutions, acquiring information that will provide strategic added value to company objectives

• Supporting both to the strategical partnership projects of the company with short term and limited strategic scope and to establishment of strategical partnership pursuing long term and extensive strategical relations

• Discussion and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders, health authorities to achieve the permissions and solutions to issues related to responsibilities of the department

• Ensuring our company's participation to the tenders of ministry of health within the frame of our products

• Planning the quality control tests before the delivery of the tender vaccines and following the stages of the laboratory analyses, reporting and payment of fees after the delivery of the vaccines to the MoH warehouses

• Under global competitive environment ensuring of the visibility of our company value for public health and improving the company image

About you

• Experience: Market access/Regulatory/Project Management/Public Procurement experience in a pharma co.   

• Soft and technical skills: Commercial acumen, Strategic thinking, Negotiation skills, Influencing others, Analytical skills, People leadership, Forward thinking, Comfortable working in complex, matrixed environments with global counterparts. Self-starter with a passion for innovation and a strong sense of initiative

• Languages: Fluent in English
