Role objective and key accountabilities:

The Strategic Partner – Africa is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening strategic partnerships across the African region in support of VOX Solutions’ growth objectives in the telecom sector. This role focuses on identifying key regional opportunities, building high-value alliances, and driving collaborative initiatives that deliver mutual business success.

Acting as a key liaison between VOX Solutions and its partners, the Strategic Partner ensures alignment with the company’s global strategy while promoting long-term value creation and regional market expansion.

Reports to: VP of Strategic Partnership- AFRICA

Key interactions: Sales, Global Account Management, Finance, Legal, Partner Support, Partner Success; C-level contacts: CEO, CMO, CTO, CFO as well as interaction with Wholesale Director and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying the potentials, creating the strategy and conveying the strategic partnerships with MNOs or MNO groups concerning the A2P/P2A Messaging, VAS solutions, Interconnection and SMS Monetization services across region.

Establish strategic partnerships amongst Mobile Operators in the region.

Mobile Operators Top Management liaison.

P/L forecasting, analysis, responsibility.

SMS A2P and VOICE Monetization Solutions.

SMS A2P and VOICE Anti-Fraud Managed Solutions/Firewall Management.

A2P/P2A Messaging.

SMS A2P and VOICE Interconnection.

Sales process, Business development, IT feasibility, Pre-sales.

Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and relevant events publications, and announcements.

Delegate on the following congress: GSMA.

Skills: 

University degree in business, marketing, economics or similar domains.

Proven track record in sales and negotiations with strong customer relationships.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 

Successful experience in working at MNOs in SMS A2P related projects.

Successful experience in working at MNOs in SMS A2P projects.
