We’re not chasing quick wins or cold call quotas.

SBM is a full-service marketing agency with serious delivery muscle — creative, content, production, PR, print, digital, and martech, all under one roof. From packaging to press ads, sizzle reels to social campaigns, our teams bring ideas to life and get them out into the world fast, and at scale.

We work with some of Australia’s most recognisable brands across retail, FMCG, and consumer and we’re built to flex. Whether clients need the full suite or just one specialist service, they come to us because we make the complex feel seamless.

Now we’re looking for someone who can help us grow.

Not through warm leads or inbound referrals — but by opening doors, leading sharp senior conversations, and turning capability into commercial opportunity.

You’ll be our New Business Lead — the person who sees what’s possible before the brief even lands.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for leading new business growth — identifying the right opportunities, engaging with senior marketing decision-makers, and shaping long-term, retainer-led partnerships.

This isn’t about chasing small project work or jumping through endless RFP hoops. It’s about starting strategic conversations, qualifying fast, and bringing in work that matches what we’re built to deliver — consistently, at scale, and in-house.

Once a client is won, you’ll hand them over to our account management team and stay focused on building the next opportunity. You’ll have full backing from leadership and the space to build momentum your way — with no red tape holding you back.

We’d love to hear from you if...

● You’ve worked in new business, sales or client acquisition — ideally within a creative, production or marketing-led environment

● You’re comfortable navigating CMO-level conversations and shaping commercial proposals that cut through

● You’ve built long-term client relationships from the ground up — and know how to spot value early

● You don’t need hand-holding. You’re proactive, commercially-minded, and know what a good opportunity looks like

● You enjoy the pace and variety that comes with winning new work — and you’re not afraid to qualify hard or walk away when it’s not right

● You want a role with clear impact, real autonomy, and the support of a team that knows how to deliver
