Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. Our robots are engineered to perform a wide range of tasks across commercial and industrial environments.
We are looking for a Strategic Finance & Capital Markets Intern to support Figure’s Strategic Finance and Capital Markets team. This role works directly with the Strategic Finance & Capital Markets Manager and supports high-impact financial, analytical, and strategic initiatives across the company.
This role is intentionally broad. You will support everything from core financial modeling to capital markets and investor-related work, as well as ad-hoc analyses that inform leadership decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and iterate on core company financial models
• Support capital markets, fundraising, and investor-related initiatives
• Analyze strategic initiatives and pressure-test assumptions through scenario analysis
• Execute ad-hoc financial and analytical projects, often with incomplete or evolving information
• Pull inputs from engineering, operations, and finance teams and translate them into clear, decision-ready outputs
• Maintain clean, consistent, and well-documented models, assumptions, and analyses as the company scales
Requirements:
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to work through ambiguity and identify what matters most
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain a big-picture perspective
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize and operate independently
• Prior exposure to corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or consulting
• Experience building financial models or performing scenario analysis
• Familiarity with capital markets, fundraising, or investor diligence
• Comfort working with data, large spreadsheets, dashboards, or SQL
Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience supporting high-growth or venture-backed companies
• Exposure to hardware, manufacturing, or capital-intensive businesses
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
The US hourly pay range for this position is $35–$50 per hour. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
