We are now on the hunt for experienced Storyboard Revisionist to work on a new undisclosed series production. We are looking for people who will join us in our quest to create the best possible animated content for our partners. The role is due to start 02 March 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: For this role, candidates may work either from our Kilkenny studio or remotely within the Republic of Ireland., there is no option to work freelance from outside of Ireland
About the role
As a Storyboard revisionist you will work closely with the Assistant Director and partner studio revising storyboards. Responding efficiently to notes and translating revisions during storyboard review and animatic process. Contributing to the creative aspects of story including character development and dramatic/comedic action. Making sure the quality, vision and style of the show is achieved consistently across all revisions.
What you'll be doing
Create Storyboard revisions for the production in Toonboom Storyboard Pro
Work from provided notes to adjust as required
Meet deadlines as established by production management
Artist needs to be able to take direction well, follow Directors' notes and changes, and make the required revisions
Attend meetings, reviews and workshops when required
The above is not exhaustive and from time to time you may be asked to carry out other tasks.
What we're looking for
Ability to express character emotion and attitude through drawings
Great understanding of cinematography, staging and storytelling
Strong knowledge of anatomy, perspective, and composition
Ability to brainstorm inventive ideas to plus story material
Willingness to rework material multiple times while keeping a fresh eye
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple tasks in a fast-paced production
Ability to quickly and effectively illustrate in any style required
Manage timelines ensuring work is delivered on schedule
Expert level of StoryboardPro skills
Strong communication skills; verbal, nonverbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel)/Google Documents
Professional and positive attitude
