Role Overview
Mint Source is hiring a Storyboard Artist (Figma) for a fast paced creative agency that specializes in motion design, video storytelling, and landing page design for global brands and digital-first startups. You will turn scripts and creative briefs into clear, visually compelling storyboards that guide editors and animators through production. You will collaborate with writers, editors, and design leads to shape narratives from concept to delivery. This role suits a detail-oriented visual thinker who is confident working in Figma and has a strong sense of pacing, framing, and narrative flow.
What You’ll Do
Translate scripts and creative direction into polished, motion-ready storyboards using Figma
Collaborate with writers, editors, and motion designers to develop visual storytelling frameworks
Design clear visual sequences that capture product narratives, explainer video flows, and ad concepts
Set up storyboard files for ease of use by motion and post-production teams
Work across multiple storyboard projects at once, maintaining quality and consistency
Align storyboard visuals with brand guidelines while pushing for engaging, creative ideas
Support landing page redesigns when needed by contributing to layout and visual structure
Participate in async reviews, iterating quickly based on team feedback
Maintain an organized asset and versioning system that supports fast-turnaround client projects
Contribute to building a scalable storyboard process and visual SOPs for future hires
What We’re Looking For
Strong portfolio showcasing storyboard work for videos, product explainers, or ads
Advanced Figma skills with a sharp eye for layout, visual pacing, and narrative flow
Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills for polishing or enhancing visual elements when required
Exceptional visual taste with the ability to match high end design benchmarks
Understanding of video production workflows and what makes a storyboard motion ready
Ability to translate abstract concepts into clear, actionable frames
Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines across fast paced projects
High attention to detail and consistency across styles and formats
Experience working with creative teams across content, design, and post production
Willingness to complete a relevant storyboard task during the hiring process
Bonus: Ability to provide light guidance or feedback to junior designers if needed
Bonus: Familiarity with preparing Figma files for Framer compatible handoff
