Step-In Supervisor - Janitorial (Various Sites)

Topa is looking for motivated a motivated Step-In Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis on various sites! The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to maintain a clean environment.

Position Title: Janitorial Step-In Supervisor

Location: Colonsay, Aspen, Lanigan Site 

Start Date: Immediately

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings

Sweep, scrub. Wash, and polish floors and clean rugs

Dust furniture, wash walls

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs

Empty waste and transport to disposal area

Replenish bathroom supplies

Strip and wax floors

Other duties as assigned

Supervise co-workers while performing tasks 

Report discrepancies to management

Perform Human resources tasks

Follow up on completed tasks to properly mentor

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment

Ability to work independently

Understanding of health and safety regulations

Problem solving Skills

Ability to Multitask

Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test

Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset

Must have valid class 5 drivers license

   Attend, participate, and organize in the following exercises:

Safety meetings 

Tool box talks 

Site inspections

Complete FLRA's
