Job Overview:
Our client, a fast-growing DTC brand built on bold creative, aggressive testing, and performance marketing, is looking for a Static Ad Designer to create high-converting visual assets for paid social. In this role, you will design scroll-stopping creatives while contributing to revenue growth through performance-driven design.
Responsibilities:
• Design high-converting static ads for paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
• Turn copy and creative briefs into compelling visual executions
• Rapidly produce variations for testing (hooks, layouts, offers, angles)
• Collaborate with copywriters and media buyers to improve performance
• Analyze winning creatives and iterate based on data
• Stay on top of DTC trends, competitor ads, and visual patterns
• Contribute ideas for new creative concepts and testing angles
Requirements:
Must-Have:
• Experience working with a DTC/eCommerce brand
• Proven experience designing static ads for paid media
• Strong understanding of performance-driven design (not just branding)
• Proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Figma, Canva, or similar
• Ability to design quickly without sacrificing effectiveness
• Strong attention to detail and layout hierarchy
Nice-to-Have:
• Has designed ads for a brand actively running paid traffic
• Understands what makes creatives convert (UGC-style visuals, bold hooks, clarity)
• Comfortable working with fast iteration cycles and high output
• Thinks beyond visuals — understands the “why” behind each design
• Thrives in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
• Experience designing for multiple DTC niches (fashion, supplements, gadgets, etc.)
• Basic motion or animation skills
• Familiarity with CRO and landing page design
• Experience collaborating closely with media buyers
