About the Role

Are you ready to join a dynamic editorial team? We are currently seeking a talented Staff Writer based in Mumbai to join our Secret Perth team! This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a professional newsroom and advance your career with one of the most esteemed digital media teams.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Identifying compelling stories and generating diverse content ideas for Secret Perth.

• Crafting engaging, accurate, and informative articles efficiently.

• Ensuring all site copy and headlines adhere to editorial guidelines and our style guide.

• Collaborating on an editorial calendar that balances news, reviews, and city-centric content, ranging from trending stories to planned campaigns.

• Creating SEO-friendly posts (SEO training will be provided).

• Assisting in promotional efforts and collaborating with our Social Media Networking team under manager guidance.

• Using analytics to refine your content strategy and make adjustments as necessary.

About You

• Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in digital writing.

• A keen understanding of what makes stories shareable on social platforms.

• Proficiency with social and digital publishing tools.

• A methodical approach to efficiently managing your beat.

• A strong interest in the lifestyle, food, entertainment, and art scenes, and a willingness to dive deep into cultural nuances.
