We are currently partnering with a regional hospital in Queensland to appoint experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialists and Senior Medical Officers to join a growing and supportive department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact clinical role within a busy regional service, delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care while contributing to leadership, teaching, and service development.

The Role:
You will provide high-quality Obstetrics and Gynaecology services within your defined scope of clinical practice, working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves clinical leadership, supervision of junior medical staff, participation in teaching, and ongoing involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting service delivery across the broader health network, with potential involvement across multiple regional sites.
About the Department:
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department is a busy regional service supporting a diverse and growing population, with a strong focus on safe, patient-centred maternity and women’s health care. The team works collaboratively across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings, managing a broad mix of general and higher-risk obstetric cases alongside gynaecological services. There is an established culture of teaching and mentoring, with regular involvement in training junior doctors and medical students. The department is committed to continuous quality improvement, clinical governance, and maintaining high standards of care. You will be joining a collegial and supportive team with a strong emphasis on teamwork and professional development.
About You:
• Specialist registration with AHPRA (or eligible)
• Fellowship with RANZCOG (or assessed as substantially comparable)
• Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at consultant or senior level
• Commitment to high-quality patient care, teaching and teamwork
