Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance, scalability, stability, and performance of our applications under various load conditions. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to design, develop, and execute quality automation testing and performance testing strategies that drive product excellence. You will act as a mentor and process advocate, driving improvements that scale beyond a single team. You will exercise high discretion over technical decisions and influence department-level business outcomes. Providing strong leadership within and across scrum teams to align execution with architectural vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement Product testing strategies for web, API, and backend systems.

• Design, Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, Locust or similar.

• Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.

• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and optimization opportunities.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps to resolve performance issues and improve system performance.

• Define performance benchmarks and success criteria.

• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate test outcomes to stakeholders.

• Lead in performance tuning, capacity planning, and architecture reviews.

• Ensure Quality test framework is developed and maintained by QA team

• Design the framework to assist QA schedule to be in line with the development cycle.

• Drive operational excellence — monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and incident management.

• Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely delivery of integration projects.

• Promote best practices for versioning, testing, and automation.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify new integration opportunities that drive business value.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 8+ years of experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Deep understanding of QA, Performance testing and QA test architecture.

• Experience in cloud-native API and microservices Quality assurance.

• Experience with enterprise Test frameworks and automation

• Proven experience managing complex cross-system integrations and testing.

• Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.

• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

• Strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
