Staff Javascript Engineer

Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), powered by Auth0 technology, is an easy to implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We make access to applications safe, secure, and seamless for the more than 100 million daily logins around the world. We are looking for a Staff Javascript Engineer to join our high-calibre UI Components Engineering team. Your role will be to help us provide a world-class experience to our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the foundation of Auth0's product stack, realizing a huge impact for both our customers and partners.

What you will do:

• Work with design, backend and client-side teams to deliver world-class user experiences.

• Delight our customers by providing world-class UX using our React-based design system.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to define and continually improve Auth0’s product offerings.

• Proactively address needs of teams across the engineering organization to ensure rapid delivery of a robust, secure and maintainable UI.

• Mentor junior engineers on their development journey

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite per week)

Note: This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our Bengaluru, IN office during the first week of employment.

Key Qualifications:

• Must Have: 8+ years of hands on expertise in JavaScript, React and Node js

• Must Have: 3+ years of hands on expertise in Next.Js

• Expertise in working with React, NextJS, Redux / MobX along with the following areas:

Component libraries - Material UI, Radix UI, shadcn/ui.JS styling libraries - Tailwind.Hands-on experience in building and testing accessible UI Components from the ground up

• Strong experience with frontend build tools, module bundlers, and package managers

• Experience working in distributed teams and work environments.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and maintenance of a delivery pipeline.

• Understanding of core web vitals, page speed and performance optimization.

• A high bar for both code quality as well as quality of user experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to collaborate with others to drive initiatives forward.

Nice To Haves:

• Experience with databases, storage and caching strategies.

• Identity management, managements of services and applications in the authorization and authentication space
