V-Comply was founded in 2019 with a focus to deliver a SaaS Cloud GRC solution that is highly configurable and adaptable to a range of industries with a particular focus in the mid-market. 

About the Job

We are looking for a staff Frontend Magician to join our team at V-Comply, a fast-growing GRC SaaS company. In this role, you will work closely with the product team to build elegant user experiences that delight our customers. 

What you will do 

• Design, deliver and maintain systems that enable our customers to take care of their critical compliance and regulatory tasks.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements. 

• Partner with fellow engineers to architect, develop and scale the VComply dashboard, while keeping operational issues in mind. 

• Mentor and support your fellow teammates. 

• Drive ongoing efficiency and reliability improvements that improve the quality of the systems. 

• Write clear documentation so that other engineers can partner to contribute and deliver. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a strong focus on modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. 

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in building responsive and accessible web applications. 

• Skilled with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or NgRx. 

• Proficiency with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc. 

• Understanding of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less. 

• Familiarity with server-side rendering techniques and tools such as Next.js or Nuxt.js. 

• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN 

• Experience with web security principles and techniques such as CORS, CSRF, or XSS, etc. 

• Prior experience with agile methodologies and software development best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and CI, CD 

• Experience with frontend performance optimization techniques and tools such as Webpack Bundle Analyzer or Lighthouse. 

• Strong debugging skills in web browsers using developer tools such as Chrome DevTools, Firefox Developer Edition, or Safari Web Inspector. 

Preferred qualifications 

• Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools such as New Relic, HotJar or Sentry. 

• Familiarity with design systems and related tools such as Storybook or Figma. 

• Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
