Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with strong technical expertise in enterprise backend applications (Java stack) to join our Feature Team.
The Feature Team develops complex web applications for RingCentral customers, which they use to set up telephony services, purchasing new devices and minute bundles, reporting, and audit. We are also working on joint projects with other teams in which telephony and a public API are being developed for the interaction of applications (mobile, desktop, browser) with a telecommunications service. The stack of technologies used on the project: Java on the Backend, JS/TS/React on the Frontend, Oracle for the database.
Responsibilities
Engage in technical design for new features and provide technical guidance to the team;
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate high-level functional requirements into detailed, implementable low-level designs and tasks;
Personally participate in code development and review;
Participate in research projects and experiments to improve technical processes.
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years of back-end development experience;
Experience in developing commercial server applications in Java (JavaEE, JavaSE);
Experience with Spring framework, Spring Web, and Spring Boot;
Experience with GraphQL;
Understanding modern containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
English: from Pre-intermediate and above.
Will be a plus
Experience in designing and implementing complex high volume; highly available globally distributed applications;
Experience using Amazon AWS;
Experience with Kotlin.
