About the Team
The Staff Engineer operates as a technical authority at an organizational level, driving alignment across teams, translating business strategy into technical direction, and elevating the overall engineering maturity of the organization through standards, principles, and high-impact technical leadership.
In a typical week you will
Activities:
Define technical vision at an organizational level, including architecture, standards, and engineering practices.
Lead high-impact, cross-organizational initiatives such as platform modernization or architectural transformation.
Design systems at scale, including multi-system, high-throughput, low-latency, and high-availability environments.
Align multiple teams around architectural principles and strategic engineering priorities.
Identify and drive large-scale optimization opportunities in performance, resilience, efficiency, and cost.
Responsibilities:
Establish and evolve engineering standards across the organization.
Anticipate and prevent systemic issues through long-term architectural thinking.
Influence both technology and business strategy with strong technical judgment.
Elevate engineering capabilities across teams through guidance, mentoring, and standards.
Act as a company-wide technical authority in relevant domains and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
