The Presales Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to customers before the sale and during the deployment of Shield AI’s Hivemind solution. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their mission requirements and demonstrating how Shield AI’s solutions meet those needs. You will play a key role in ensuring successful product integration for AI and autonomy applications throughout the presales process.

What You'll do: :
Contribute to White Papers, Request For Information Responses, Contract review, and Proposals.  Generate and deliver technical briefings tailored to customer needs.  Become a user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and an expert in Hivemind Solutions.  Support the development and execution of demos. Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Hivemind demos. Collaborate with the engineering team to address customer feedback and improve products.  Visit customers on site globally to support presales activities. 

Required Qualifications: :
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, AI or a related field.  8+ years of experience of industry experience 2+ years of presales experience 2+ years of enterprise sales experience  Technical background in software engineering Intermediate proficiency in writing modern C++ code  Intermediate proficiency in writing Python code  Intermediate proficiency with Linux operating systems Strong technical writing skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications: :
3+ years of experience working in a startup environment  Experience in the defense aviation, autonomy, or robotics industry
