Job Description :  SAP FICO Consultant Experience
 6+ years About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead and support global SAP S/4 HANA implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), with the ability to translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions that optimize financial processes and ensure seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, covering all phases especially supporting business for the entire phases of the project including training, user acceptance test, data migration and go-live.
- Lead and contribute to SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Drive functional and technical discussions with client project teams during discovery and design workshops - Establish strong credibility and trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders at all levels
- Reviewing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), High-Level Solution Designs, and Detailed Design Documents
- Provide architectural guidance and oversee solution quality across one or multiple projects
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and external systems
- Leverage technical understanding and debugging knowledge to support issue resolution and complex integrations - Collaborate effectively with distributed and remote teams across different geographies
- Research, analyze, and resolve complex issues under tight timelines and project pressures
- Experience and knowledge in retail processes will be an added advantage
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support in enterprise or global environments
- Strong configuration expertise in SAP FI and CO, including:
o General Ledger (GL) o Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Asset Accounting (AA)
o Cost Center Accounting
o Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Proven experience in cross-module integration with MM, SD, and PP
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP solutions
- Experience conducting business workshops, user training, and stakeholder discussions
- Hands-on experience in testing, data migration support, and UAT execution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business users and project teams
- SAP FICO certification is preferred but not mandatory
 
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
- Professional or SAP certifications in FI/CO are an added advantage
