The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is responsible for maintaining general ledger activity, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The Staff Accountant will contribute to financial reporting, support audit activities, and help maintain compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of US GAAP, solid analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you will do at VeSync::
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement changes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Tax support - Sales tax, GST and filling 1099

What you bring to the role::
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite), strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Location:
• This is an on-site, office-based role in Tustin, CA.

• Starting at $60K Annually
