Job Description

Well Established Consumer Goods Organization

• Assisting in the monthly closing process including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of intercompany accounts for corporate and holding companies and other corresponding reconciliations
• Performing account analysis and assisting with SEC reporting as well as internal reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of governmental quarterly and annual reports
• Participating in special projects as assigned
• Responsible for the accounts payable function related to the corporate office

• Preparation of the financial statements for the Company’s Holding Companies
• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance

• 1 to 3 years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a deadline driven department
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting concepts with the ability to learn internal policies and procedures and apply them to routine situations
• Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, and Power Point software programs.
• BS in Accounting
