How You’ll Contribute:
Kaufman Rossin's Family Office Services is looking for a Staff Accountant! This is a great opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients within a supportive and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, able to multi-task and comfortable dealing with financial data and all aspects of the accounting function. They should be excellent at recording data, with the ability to produce clear financial reports.
How You’ll Contribute:
• Ensure that accounts payable are entered accurately and paid in a timely manner
• Ensure that accounts receivable are entered accurately and collected promptly
• Process payroll in a timely manner
• Ensure that monthly bank and credit card reconciliations are completed for all client accounts
• Prepare filings for payroll and sales/use tax
• Maintain an orderly electronic accounting filing system
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Requirements:
What Skills You’ll Bring:
• Ability to process transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Issue timely and complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment by assuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Represent the firm with clients, vendors, and business partners
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, detail-oriented
How You’ll Stand Out:
• Advanced QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online skills
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, & Outlook
• Familiarity with Bill.com a plus
• Familiarity with other cloud-based software applications (Tallie, Expensify, or Concur) a plus
• Previous Family Office specific experience
• Ability to work periodic overtime
