Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic project accounting team. The position will report to the Project Accounting Manager and will be responsible for month-end functions, working with the project accounting team, and assisting with the Company's financial statements preparation under US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the execution and performance of accounting and reporting activities, including, but not limited to:

• Drive the project accounting month-end close processes, including the monthly preparation and review of all journal entries, schedule reconciliations, and TB reviews.
• Quarterly, preparation of the quarterly reporting packages, including financials, DSCR, distributions, operating reports, and other reporting requirements as necessary.
• Work closely with the treasury operations team and provide a timely weekly review of subcash and monthly review of bank reconciliations.
• Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP.
• Preparing and maintaining various schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Working collaboratively with various business units to gather information and build a strong understanding of the company's operations and ensure accurate disclosures in the Company's financial statements.
• Assisting in implementation of new accounting standards and processes related to the ERP system.
• Providing suggestions and support for process improvements/efficiencies
• Assisting with requests from external auditors to provide necessary documentation and information for audits.

Requirements:
• Excellent communication in the English language (Both oral and written).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance / CA / ACCA.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant public accounting experience and combined industry and public accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to independently perform research to propose a solution for accounting issues
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite and/or other ERP systems
• Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a close-knit team
• Solid relationship-building skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels
