Staff Accountant

Fastbreak AI is transforming sports operations with cutting-edge AI software used by leagues, teams, and sports event organizers across the country. We’re building a dynamic, collaborative finance team that supports rapid growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making across the company.

What You’ll Do

As a Staff Accountant at Fastbreak AI, you’ll play a critical role in the financial operations of our business. You will:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and related workflows.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate cash positions.
• Track and report on project costs and budget performance to support business decisions.
• Use data to analyze financial trends and prepare reports that help drive insights.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners regarding financial activities.
• Support month-end close and assist with other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Has experience working with a MacBook computer

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced business environment.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong skills in both Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute across the finance function.

This is an onsite position in Charlotte, NC.
