Apt Resources is honored to present an exceptional career opportunity for a Stable Manager to serve a VIP Private Family in Abu Dhabi. The Stable Manager will have overall responsibility for the daily operations and management of the stable, ensuring the highest standards of horse care, staff supervision, and facility maintenance in alignment with the family’s expectations and privacy requirements.
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of stable operations including horse care, feeding, grooming, exercise routines, and health monitoring.
• Lead and supervise stable staff, including grooms, riders, and support personnel, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety and care protocols.
• Coordinate veterinary and farrier appointments, treatments, and medical records for all horses.
• Maintain stable facilities, equipment, and inventory, overseeing repairs and ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Develop and implement efficient training and exercise programs tailored to each horse’s needs and performance goals.
• Manage budgets related to stable operations, including supplies, feed, and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices for equine care and stable management.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the family regarding horse health, training progress, and stable operations.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all interactions and work practices supporting the VIP family environment.
Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of equine care and stable management
• Proven experience in handling horses safely and confidently
• Demonstrated experience in horse trading (buying and selling) is essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Solid understanding of equine health, including basic first aid
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
• British Horse Society Stage 3 qualification (or equivalent) – mandatory
• Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
• Can arrange 5-day trial if shortlisted
Benefits:
Salary: AED 15,000 – AED 20,000 (depending on experience, negotiable), plus other benefits as per UAE labor law.
