In this role, you'll lead the management and optimization of Accounts Payable solutions, guiding a high-impact team that collaborates across business and finance to bring operational initiatives to life. You'll design and scale AP systems, mentor analysts, and shape the technical direction—all while ensuring robust, production-ready solutions that create real business value.
What you can expect from this role (Responsibilities)
Lead by example as a Specialist for the AP Team, being proactive and collaborative in problem resolution and intervening in escalations.
Support Change Management by documenting changes in policies, procedures, and guides to ensure area efficiencies.
Train and assist Analysts and Junior Analysts on the team regarding best practices and lessons learned.
Manage complex processes as a Senior Analyst, specifically focusing on Payment Proposals, Express Payments reviews, and Data Quality Control.
Oversee the Vendor Master Data Registration process, collaborating with compliance, legal, buyers, and IT Security.
Support the AP Lead in dispute resolution through effective communication and attention to claims.
Drive agile AP processes within a SOX compliance environment, ensuring teamwork across finance and the organization.
Align with Accounting, FP&A, Taxes, and Treasury to ensure information traceability, accuracy, and achievement of SLA/KPI targets.
Act as a Key User and expert in Monday Dashboards and connected systems related to the AP area.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, or a similar field.
Prior experience in Accounts Payable within a global company and a SOX control environment.
Deep understanding of end-to-end administration processes, specifically with business acumen in Banking or Fintech.
Advanced level of English and Spanish.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Mid-level stakeholder management skills, particularly in dispute resolution and dealing with ambiguity.
Nice to have
Prior experience as an SAP project Key User or involvement in system implementations.
Knowledge of Agile methodology, Six Sigma certifications, or Project Management certifications.
Experience in the Payments Industry, Digital Banks, or Fintech.
Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Monday systems, and integration software.
Command of the Portuguese language.
