Job Title: SSIS / SSRS with DB Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Full-Time

Job Description:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience

• SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016 standalone and clusters

• SQL Server Reporting Services

• SQL Server Integration Service

• Analysis Services

• Proficient in Always on/Mirroring/Log Shipping

• Foglight

• SQL Litespeed

· Database Administrator’s role is to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. Production database support of a 24x7 environment and on-call support is required.

· Perform Design, build, configuration and administration of clusters and standalone Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014.

· Install, configure, and maintain SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS instances.

· Perform database administration tasks such as patching, upgrading, backup/recovery management and capacity planning

· Creating users and assigning permissions based on the level of database access the user would need

· Implement monitoring procedures to maximize availability and performance of the database/instances

· Serve as primary DBA for multiple applications running on SQL Servers.

· Configure database mirroring, log shipping, always on and SQL replication.

· Setting up high-availability as part of Disaster Recovery Strategy for the databases

· Ensures compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures

· Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of problems and recommend solutions to resolve the problems.

· Performance tuning of SQL databases and Transact-SQL queries

· Promote system reliability and efficiency by implementing standards and best-practices.

· Perform code migrations and updates through lower level environment and ultimately into production.

· Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
