Master-Works is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Developer to join our growing analytics team. As an SSAS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions that drive actionable insights and inform strategic business decisions. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, build multidimensional and tabular models, and ensure that solutions are optimized for performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SSAS OLAP cubes and tabular models to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain MDX and DAX queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Work closely with data warehousing teams to integrate and ensure data quality in OLAP cubes.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing SSAS solutions to improve query performance and reduce load times.
• Document technical specifications and best practices for SSAS development.
• Participate in deployment activities and provide support during the implementation phase.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in SSAS development with hands-on experience in creating and managing OLAP cubes and tabular models.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing MDX and DAX queries.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Microsoft Certifications in Data and Analytics are a plus.
