RELG 203 Bible and Western Culture – Prof Chan – 1 position of 120 hours
RELG 211 Theology Through Fiction – Prof Farrow – 1 position of 120 hours
RELG 212 Introduction to African Religions and Culture – Prof Ogunnaike – 1 position of 120 hours
RELG 253 Religions of East Asia – Prof Lai – 2 positions of 120 hours
RELG 254 Introduction to Yoga Traditions – Prof Stainton – 2 positions of 120 hours
RELG 270 Religious Ethics and the Environment – Prof TBA – 2 positions of 120 hours
RELG 331 Religion and Globalisation – Prof Nelson – 2 positions of 120 hours
RELG 341 Introduction to Philosophy of Religion – Prof Kanaris – 1 position of 120 hours
RELG 370 Religion and Human Rights – Prof Cere – 2 positions of 120 hours
Position Summary:
• Instruction in conference sections (if scheduled).
• Be available for student consultation by email or by office hours.
• Attend class lectures (where required).
• Grade papers and exams.
• Assist in preparation of course materials (where required).
Qualifications:
• Academic background in religious studies preferably graduate level.
• Prior graduate/undergraduate study in the subject of the course.
• Strong overall academic performance.
• Suitable teaching skills.
• Must be registered in an MA or PhD program at McGill University.
Hourly Salary: $38.46
Total Hours of Work per Term: 120
Position Start Date: 31 August 2026
Position End Date: 5 January 2027
